Bart Mauch speaks to Optimist Club
Optimist member Bart Mauch shared the particulars of the siege of Yorktown during the Revolutionary War. Mauch stated, "We like to say the Siege ended the Revolutionary War but in truth, it didn't ended until two and a half years later." He provided the perspective that there were many countries that had special interests in America at that time- France, Spain, the Netherlands and England who were involved in the war for economic reasons.
