Michael May speaks at Optimist Meeting
On November 15, 2017, Michael P. May, City Attorney for Madison, Wisconsin and huge Badger sports fan, spoke to the Sauk Prairie Optimist Club. May spoke about “The Storied Rivalry: Minnesota Gophers v. Wisconsin Badgers.” This rivalry is the most played and most consecutively played rivalry in Division 1A NCAA football and is currently tied at 59-59-8. According to May, “When the Badgers defeat the Gophers on November 25th, 2017, the Badgers will lead the series for the first time in its history, which began in 1890.” Pictured below are Jeff Boll, Optimist President; Carol May, November Speaker Coordinator; and Michael May.
The Sauk Prairie Optimist Club meets every Wednesday, the first Wednesday at noon at the Blue Spoon Café and the remaining Wednesdays at 7 a.m. at the Blue Spoon Café. Everyone Welcome!
