Governor Eli Kelling, a Village of Pewaukee resident, is a proud member of the Lake Country Optimist club and the Waukesha Optimist Club. His goals include improving public recognition of the Optimist organization and creating foundations for member success. His ambitious personality allows him to encourage members to pull their own weight. With a united front from membership, we can follow Tom Kendo's vision for us to "be the change".
Eli is an engineer in the information technology space with his own company providing small to midsize business (SMB) services. He enjoys the human element of technology: using IT to improve other people’s work lives and translating technology into simple concepts the average person can understand.
His open door policy is designed to put energy into connecting with people. Invite him to your club meeting, event, or brainstorming sessions.

The 107th Optimist International Convention will be held in St. Louis, Missouri, St. Louis Union Station Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton, June 28 to July 2, 2026. It promises to be a fantastic chance to hear motivational speakers, attend workshops, meet and socialize with other Optimists, and have fun!
