Alexis Strunz named Optimist Middle Level Leader
Alexis Strunz was honored as the Optimist Middle Level Leader at the February 21st Optimist's meeting. An 8th grader, Alexis is the daughter of Gerald and Elizabeth Strunz. Alexis was nominated by the Team M teachers. She strives for excellence, but she does so in a way that is selfless. She is helpful to other students, which she demonstrates by being a 6th grade mentor and student council member. She spends her free time during study hall as an English Language tutor. She is friendly and welcoming to all of her teachers and peers. Alexis is involved in Show Choir, Forensics, and Student Council and is a Sixth Grade Mentor. Other activities are gymnastics, dance, 4H, and Sauk County Junior Leaders Council. Alexis would like to attend Harvard University and pursue a career in neurology or occupational therapy.

The Sauk Prairie Optimist Club meets every Wednesday, the first Wednesday at noon and the remaining Wednesdays at 7 a.m. at the Blue Spoon Café in Prairie du Sac. All are welcome!
