2026-2027 LEADERSHIP TRAINING  Guests »  

Hello 26-27 Club Leaders and Lieutenant Governors,

You and your incoming club 26-27 officers are invited to leadership training on:

Saturday October 3 from 3 to 5 PM.
The training will be held at the Sun Prairie Utilities building,
510 Linnerud Dr., Sun, Prairie, Wisconsin, 53590.

Registration for FREE TRAINING is available here.

Training will include:  Role of the President and the leadership team; budget and round table regarding best practices; what works well; conflict resolution; board meeting etiquette; etc. 

One requirement for Club Presidents, Secretaries, Treasurers and Foundation representatives is to complete the leadership training for their position in Optimist Institute.  Optimist Institute provides a great format to engage in leadership training from a variety of different courses.  This training is open to all Optimists regardless of club role/responsibility, length of membership, or personal/professional goals.  

Please complete the Optimist Institute competency for your position prior to the leadership retreat if you have not taken the training in previous years for your role.
