Governor's Update
I am humbled to be your Governor for the 16-17 optimist year! I am very excited for my opportunity to help move our district and the clubs in Southern Wisconsin forward to a great future. We have wonderful optimists throughout the district doing great things in their community. My theme for the year is: Turning Walls Into Bridges. We have many walls within our organizations, and they are hindering out ability to serve even more youth. These barriers include age gaps in our membership, diversity of our members, ability of our small clubs to make big differences in their communities, and many more. Let’s work together this year to make our CLUBS, our ZONES, and this DISTRICT as strong as it ever has been. Together we can… turn walls intro bridges.
