Hello fellow Optimists!
I am truly honored and excited to serve as your 2026–2027 SWIS District Governor, starting on October 1, 2026, As we embark on this journey together, I look forward to embracing the Optimist Creed’s call to “look at the sunny side of everything” and to work alongside each of you to make our community stronger through optimism, service, and leadership.
A little about me: I’ve been married to my husband, Tim, for 34 years. Together, we have a son, Chad, who is married to his wife, Courtney. We are also blessed with two beautiful grandchildren, Zoey, age 2 1/2, and Wesley, age 1, who brings endless joy and inspiration to our lives.
While I officially became an Optimist member in 2021, my passion first for serving others began long before that. Since 2003, I have been actively involved in volunteering with numerous nonprofit organizations, always believing that positive action can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
I invite you to join me and my leadership team for our First Quarter Conferece consisting of
